You’re not broken. And I’m proof you’re not alone.
If you’ve found your way here, I already know something about you: you’ve been carrying too much for too long and somehow, you’re still keeping the plates spinning.
As an attorney, teacher, and ND mom, I became an IEP advocate to help parents of ADHD and autistic kidsI get it because I’ve lived it.
* I’ve been the mom ugly-crying in the car after an IEP meeting that felt like a hostage negotiation.
* I’ve been the woman wondering why “simple things” take five hours and three meltdowns.
* I’ve been the one whispering, Why can’t I just get it together like everyone else?
Here’s the truth I learned the hard way: you were never the problem. The system was.
Like so many of us, I was late-diagnosed. I spent years trying to play by rules that were never written for me or my kids. I know what it’s like to be the strong one, the fixer, the advocate while secretly breaking inside.
And that’s why I built The Neurodivergent Uprising.
Because ND moms (and every woman raising ND kids) don’t need more shame checklists or empty pep talks.
We need scaffolds that work with our brains, strategies that actually fit our families, and solidarity that reminds us we’re not failing - we’re the uprising.
Imagine this instead:
Walking into school meetings without dread.
Days that don’t end with you running on fumes.
Kids who finally feel seen, because you stopped parenting the “expected way” and started parenting the real way.
That’s not a fantasy. It’s what happens when you stop doing this alone.
