We are the mothers who evolve entire nervous systems to keep our kids alive. And we are also the least resourced. That’s why I built what didn’t exist for me.

ND moms are not just advocates. We are entire systems bending, adapting, bracing, rewiring our bodies and our minds to keep our kids afloat.
We become the scheduler, the regulator, the voice in the meeting, the safety net at home.
We carry a load no one else sees. And still, we rise.

I know this because it’s my story.

I masked my way through college and law school, holding everything together while unraveling inside.
I became an attorney and teacher, but also the mother who lost keys, missed forms, and fought schools that dismissed my kids.
I adopted, parented, and advocated until my nervous system was wrecked from bracing.
I’ve been the one ugly crying in the car after an IEP, the one wondering why “simple things” took five hours and three meltdowns, the one collapsing at night with nothing left.

Like so many of us, I was diagnosed late.
I learned the hard way that mothers don’t just adapt to systems we adapt our entire nervous systems to survive them.

And it breaks us.

Here’s what I also learned: we are not broken. The system is.
And when a mother is resourced, everything changes for her, for her kids, for the kids who come after.

That’s why I built The Neurodivergent Uprising.
Because what I needed didn’t exist: a space where nervous system science, subconscious rewiring, and story-based advocacy come together to hold ND moms as the container.
From that container, we build the scaffolds: advocacy that works, executive function systems that stick, parenting that feels possible.

This is not just my story. It’s yours, too.

Imagine walking into school meetings steady, not braced.
Parenting with presence, not panic.
Evenings that don’t end in collapse, but in connection.
Generations shifted because one mother refused to burn out.

We are the mothers who adapt, who evolve, who carry.
And we are also the ones who are least resourced.

So I built what didn’t exist. And I want you to come with me.
Together, we change the trajectory for our kids, and their kids after them.

Bring your chaos. Bring your grief. Bring your brilliance.
This is where ND moms stop drowning and start rising.Imagine This Instead:

  • Walking into an IEP or 504 meeting calm, grounded, and clear

  • Parenting with co-regulation instead of constant correction

  • Days that end with softness, not shutdown

  • Systems that support your actual brain

  • A home that hums with enoughness

That’s not a fantasy. That’s what happens when ND moms stop doing this alone.
